Using a soap dish is a good way to reduce plastic and they make a great gift. The raised oval in the middle holds your soap out of any water that might collect in the bottom to keep your soap dry.

I use a flecked stoneware which has a lovely creamy colour and natural dark speckles which come out in the final firing. Every piece is handcrafted so glaze finish and dimensions can vary slightly.
